CANMAKE: Powder Cheeks Blusher PW38 Review
Before we get to the colour swatches, let's get to know this blusher better!
CANMAKE Powder Cheeks PW38 (4g) |
Packaging
It comes in a quite simple packaging, encased in a plastic container (as shown in the photo above) which has a princess-y design. You would be able to see its colour vividly through the clear container and it also comes handy with a mini brush. The box is lightweight as it only weighs 4g which is perfect for travelling. It's also very handy when it comes to touch up because brush is included. The brush has soft bristles and picks up powder easily.

Colour
I've got mine in colour PW38 (Plum Pink) which claims to have a pearly texture as compared to other colour in PW39 (Violet Purple) which has a matte texture. Did you know that Pantone has chosen Ultra Violet as the colour of the year for 2018? No wonder the vivid purple colour is such a hype in the beauty industry and the colour purple is introduced everywhere from makeup blusher and lipstick to clothing and shoes. The unique purple colour of this blusher caught my eyes right away because it is such a rare colour to be used as a blusher.

Not only that, it contains 8 types of beautifying and moisturizing agents such as hyaluronic acid, grapeseed oil, honey, royal jelly extract and apple fruit extract. Now that is really a bonus! It has oil-in-base formula which makes your skin smooth and silky with its moisturizing property. Time for some swatches and a close-up on the colour!
The blusher is very pigmented but don't be deceived by its purplish hue. When applied on hands and on your cheeks, the colour appears to be like a 'plum-pink' colour (which justifies its name). It looks more like a pink blusher than a purple one when applied on skin. Check out this photo I took when applying this blusher.
There is nothing that I dislike about this blusher. It's quite affordable (retail price is RM43.90) and can be purchased easily in stores like Guardian, SASA, Aeon Wellness and even online on HERMO. Did I mention that the blusher is really long-lasting? It can last up to 12 hours and the colour hardly wears off. It is formulated with powder that clings to your cheeks giving you a soft and cute look, while absorbing excess sebum. That is really a good news for people with oily skin type like me.
So there you have it, all that goodness contained in a small blusher like this. Are you going to get one too? Do let me know in the comment section below. Can't wait to review another favourite item from CANMAKE soon in the next post! See you and have a great day guys!
